This candy cane ice cream is a no churn vanilla ice cream filled with crushed peppermint candy canes perfect for the winter season.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups heavy whipping cream

  • 1 Cup milk

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

  • 6 drops pink food colouring

  • 3/4 tsp. peppermint extract

  • 1/3 Cup crushed peppermint candy


Directions:


• In bowl, use whisk to combine milk, condensed milk until dissolved. Stir in heavy cream, peppermint and pink food colouring.

• Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s directions. It took me 25 minutes to reach a soft-serve consistency.

• During the last 5 minutes of churning, slowly add in crushed peppermint candy.

* Transfer ice cream in airtight container for at least 2-3 hours before enjoying (if you can wait that long.
