These shaped Pumpkin Bread are soft, fluffy, super easy and make a great centrepiece for a party.

Ingredients

* 1/2 cup  pumpkin purée

* 1/2 cup warm milk

* 1 medium egg

* 3 tablespoon unsalted butter

* 1/4 brown sugar

* 2 teaspoons pumpkin spice

* 1/2 salt

* 2 teaspoon dry instant yeast

* 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

DIRECTIONS

* Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl, mix and knead — using your stand mixer to make a soft, smooth dough.

* Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, and allow it to rise for 60 to 70 mins. until it's puffy and doubled in size. Gently deflate the dough, and transfer it to a lightly greased work surface. Divide the dough into 3 pieces. Round each piece into a smooth ball.

* To shape the buns using string, take a long piece of string and find the halfway point. Place the half way point on top of the ball of dough and flip the whole thing over. Pull the two pieces of string together and cross them over to create a cross on the bottom of the ball. Flip it over again and do the same thing until the ball is divided into 8 equal pieces. Tie the string at the top and cut off any excess. Make sure that you don’t pull the string too tight as the dough will expand a lot as it rises in the oven.

* Cover and let pumpkins rest for 30 mins.

* preheat the oven to 350°F.

* Uncover the shaped pumpkin , and bake them for about 20 minutes. Cover the top with aluminum foil if they brown too fast. Remove the rolls from the oven, Brush with melted butter to give them a little shine.

* Serve warm. Freeze for longer storage
