I don’t know about you but my family gets super excited when the holidays hit because they know grocery store will start stock up on eggnog. As you all know I make ice cream all year round regardless of how incredibly cold it might be outside, but it’s always fun to make a flavor that so perfectly suits the season. Eggnog ice cream sounded just right for the holidays and making this super creamy and delicious recipes is only needs 4 ingredients.
2 Cups Eggnog
2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 cup Milk
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon ground
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg ground
In a bowl, mix the cream, eggnog cinnamon, nutmeg and milk together. Then, pour the mix into an ice cream maker. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions and once it is frozen, spoon the ice cream in to a container. Freeze for 2-3 hours more or overnight. Optional: Serve with whipped cream, caramel sauce, cinnamon or nutmeg as garnish.
