This creamy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream is truly so dreamy made with five easy ingredients. There is nothing better than fresh homemade ice cream.
1-cup whole milk, well chilled
1 can condensed milk
2 cups heavy cream, well chilled
2 drops green food colouring
1.5 tsp pure peppermint extract
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate bar, chopped into tiny piece
In bowl, use whisk to combine milk, condensed milk until dissolved. Stir in heavy cream, peppermint and green food colouring.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s directions. It took me 25 minutes to reach a soft-serve consistency.
During the last 5 minutes of churning, slowly add in chopped chocolate.
Transfer ice cream in airtight container for at least 2-3 hours before enjoying (if you can wait that long.
